Solidarity Program - Empowering Black Women Entrepreneurs

In 2020, we launched the Sisters in Solidarity (SIS) Program with a vision to empower women of color and reduce the obstacles they face throughout the entrepreneurial cycle. Our collaboration between House of Nine Sorority and SETSI, in response to Cycle 3 of The Canadian Women’s Foundation – Investment Readiness Program, exemplifies what we teach our participants. As a result, Sisters in Solidarity has now become a non-profit organization dedicated to serving our vibrant community. Together, we can endure, resourcefully overcome oppression, and become a valuable resource to ourselves.

Business Canvas

The Business Model Canvas is a strategic management and entrepreneurial tool that provides a visual representation of a business model. It helps entrepreneurs and business professionals analyze, design, and refine their business models.

Investment Readiness

Investment readiness is a state of being prepared and positioned to attract and secure investment for your business. Get a solid understanding of your business model, market potential, financials, and growth strategy, and being able to effectively communicate this information to potential investors.

Digital Marketing

Digital marketing refers to the use of digital channels and technologies to promote products, services, or brands and reach and engage with a targeted audience. It encompasses various online marketing strategies and tactics aimed at increasing brand awareness, driving website traffic, generating leads, and ultimately converting customers

Wellness

Wellness refers to the overall state of physical, mental, and emotional well-being. It encompasses a holistic approach to maintaining and improving health by adopting positive lifestyle habits and practices.

"This program was definitely life-changing. I say that over and over and over again yes it was business focused but it also focused on mind body and spirit as well and Sisterhood. I've taken a few other programs and that there were things lacking. There was a workshop on how to nourish your body I know at first I was like oh my gosh! I realized I didn't have lunch today I didn't have breakfast how are you going to continue to grow a business if you're not eating well so again this this was great because again it helped me structure my business properly. It gave me the tools to turned into a full-time entrepreneur everybody sign up trust me.
